Offecct is a Swedish furniture brand, founded in 1990, that develops seating, tables and acoustic panels for workplaces and public interiors. The brand dates its founding to 1990 and describes its origin as Swedish, with a design outlook it presents as borderless and shaped by an international view of Scandinavian design. In 2017 Offecct was added to Flokk, a Norwegian group that develops and manufactures workplace seating and whose head office is at Drammensveien 145 in Oslo. Flokk operates as a house of brands that also includes HÅG, RH, Giroflex, Profim, Malmstolen, Connection, 9to5 Seating, Stylex, Spec and VIA Seating, and it is listed as a current portfolio company of the investment firm Triton Partners. Offecct furniture is produced at Flokk's factory in Turek, Poland, where the group centralised Offecct and Giroflex production, and the brand's contact page gives Flokk AS in Oslo as its company address. Offecct develops its collections with external architects and designers, and its catalogue is credited to an international roster that includes Claesson Koivisto Rune, Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, Jin Kuramoto, Lucy Kurrein, Matti Klenell, Mattias Stenberg, Pauline Deltour and Teruhiro Yanagihara, alongside Andrea Ruggiero, Mario Ferrarini and Layla Mehdi Pour. The range covers sofas and modular sofa systems, easy chairs, meeting chairs, tables, stools, room dividers and acoustic wall and ceiling panels, with colours, fabrics and seams specified to order. Models in the current catalogue include Font by Matti Klenell, the Lucy modular sofa system by Lucy Kurrein, Sou by Teruhiro Yanagihara, the Maki easy chair by Jin Kuramoto, Shift by Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, Vertigo by Claesson Koivisto Rune, the Thelma sound absorber and room divider by Pauline Deltour and the portable Carry On by Mattias Stenberg. Turek is one of four Flokk manufacturing sites certified to ISO 14001 and covered by FSC chain-of-custody certification, and the group documents products through Environmental Product Declarations and ecolabels including Möbelfakta, the EU Ecolabel and GREENGUARD Gold. Soundwave is the brand's collection of acoustic wall panels, which pair sound absorption with a decorative surface; models in the range include the Jasmine Panel by Layla Mehdi Pour, and the Soundsticks panels are credited to Andrea Ruggiero and Jin Kuramoto. Offecct also produces the Spiegel ceiling panels that Verner Panton developed in 1969 for the Spiegel publishing house in Hamburg. The brand first returned the panels to production in 2020 in collaboration with the Panton family, then reintroduced them in 2026 with further development in materials and specification to mark the 100th anniversary of Panton's birth; they are offered in three heights, of 100, 237 and 473 millimetres. Circulus, a modular seating system for offices and large public spaces designed by Mario Ferrarini and launched in 2025, uses moulded aluminium parts with 98 per cent recycled content and steel components containing 20 per cent recycled material, together with a clip system that allows the upholstery to be replaced on site without glue or staples; it received a Red Dot: Best of the Best award and a Red Dot: Sustainable Design award in 2025. Offecct furniture is specified for workplaces, hotels, restaurants, airports and other shared public spaces, and the brand reports its products in use in more than 50 countries.
