Nowy Styl is a Polish manufacturer of furniture for offices and public spaces, headquartered in Krosno in south-eastern Poland. Its catalogue covers chairs, tables, desks and workstations, soft seating, storage furniture, beam seating and acoustic pods and solutions, supplied to office, healthcare, home-office and hospitality settings and to universities. The registered entity is Nowy Styl sp. z o.o., at ul. Pużaka 49, 38-400 Krosno, and the company states that it supplies more than 70 countries. The company was founded in 1992 by brothers Adam and Jerzy Krzanowski, starting with seven employees and three models of chairs. Its own history records more than 100 people working at Nowy Styl a year later, the sale of its first million chairs by the end of the 20th century, and a cumulative total of 50 million chairs sold by 2007. Chair production remained the core of the business as it broadened into fuller office furniture manufacturing and then into complete workplace fit-outs. Expansion after 2000 came through both new brands and acquisitions. The Forum by Nowy Styl brand was created in 2006, the Grammer Office brand joined the company in 2011 and Rohde & Grahl in 2013, and a large furniture factory opened in 2014. Sitag and Kusch+Co were among the brands added to the portfolio in subsequent years. The business traded for a period as Nowy Styl Group and later consolidated its separate labels under a single Nowy Styl brand, a decision the company explained as a way of presenting itself as one company when bidding for fit-outs across several countries, and of resolving identical products appearing in several catalogues under different names. Five brands sit in the portfolio. Nowy Styl is the largest and carries the bulk of the office furniture range. Kusch+Co, whose German entity is registered at Hallenberg, is described by the company as supplying furniture and specialised solutions for healthcare facilities and passenger terminals. Forum by Nowy Styl designs seating systems and telescopic grandstands for stadiums and multifunctional arenas, theatres, cinemas, concert halls, universities and cultural centres. Sitag by Nowy Styl is described by the company as a local Swiss brand offering ergonomic chairs and office furniture, and operates as SITAG by Nowy Styl AG from Sennwald. SOHOS by Nowy Styl covers chairs positioned at an affordable price for homes, small offices and start-ups. Manufacturing takes place in Poland and Germany. In Poland the company runs its own wood processing plant at Rzepedź, and the Forum brand states that its production facilities are at Rzepedź and Jasło. German group companies are registered at Steyerberg, the base of Nowy Styl Deutschland GmbH, and at Hallenberg, the base of Kusch+Co GmbH. At the end of 2024 the company reported approximately 3,500 people working in its factories and offices in 11 countries, sales revenue of 306.7 million euros and 28 showrooms. Sales run through its own companies and branches, including entities in Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Nowy Styl publishes a set of management-system and product certifications. It states that all of its production companies are covered by ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, and it also reports ISO 14006 for ecodesign management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, registration under EMAS, and FSC certification under the code FSC-C120977. Environmental Product Declarations for its products are prepared by ITB, and published product-level labels include Blue Angel, NF Environnement, NF Office Excellence, Möbelfakta and FEMB level, with selected products certified at FEMB level 3. In 2025 the company received CO2 Performance Ladder certification at level 3 under the scheme managed by SKAO, covering entities in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. It reports that 65 per cent of the raw wood it used in 2023 came from forests holding FSC or PEFC certification, that its CO2 emissions in 2024 were 45 per cent below 2018 levels, and that it is working towards net zero by 2050. It is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and, since 2023, to the Diversity Charter, and reports an EcoVadis Platinum medal with a score of 89 out of 100. Its sustainability report was verified by KPMG Advisory. Ketil Årdal became president and chief executive with effect from 20 March 2026, succeeding co-founder Adam Krzanowski, whose contribution the company describes as spanning over 33 years. The management board listed by the company comprises Ketil Årdal as president, with Radosław Jankielewicz, Małgorzata Naparło and Paweł Smaś as members. The company is privately held; its own announcements refer to majority shareholders and a supervisory board, and a detailed shareholding breakdown is not published. Nowy Styl furniture is specified for workplaces, healthcare buildings, passenger terminals, auditoriums and sports venues, and reaches buyers through the company's own sales companies, showrooms and dealer network rather than through direct retail.
